My oncologists moniter me with PET scans every three months and also have me get a yearly chest xray. I've had both endometrial and breast cancer. Breast cancer has not come back, but endometrial cancer has popped up for the 3rd time now since my hysterectomy. Good luck to you 😊

I see my gynecologist/oncologist every 3 months to monitor for vaginal vault recurrence and my hematologist/ oncologist every 6 months to for BW and CT scans.
I’m 2 years out now so I’m expecting my gynecologist/oncologist visits to be every 6 months for the next 3 years as the greatest risk of vaginal vault recurrence is in the first 2 years. After 5 years total I was told I can return for annual exams unless I develop symptoms.
I don’t know at this point how often I’ll be getting CT scans and blood work from here on out. I see my hematologist in October , so I guess I’ll find out then.
I was stage 1b but the tumor was a grade 3 with extensive LVI.
I had hysterectomy, 3 vaginal brachytherapy radiation treatments and 6 rounds of carboplatin and paclitaxol.
